"We drove for a mile or two down the road without saying one word to each another. Our eyes were focused intently out the windshield. Then we saw, crouched by the right side of the road, this "thing." It looked like a Bigfoot... only different. It looked into our headlights, stood up and ran in front of the car, across the road and into a large grove of trees. Mike hit the brakes as we both screamed." More...

Rotary Hammer - We Will Descend, We Will Destroy

01 - Scarlett.mp3 (4:13)
02 - Skeleton People.mp3 (6:25)
03 - Argosy.mp3 (15:53)
04 - Beyond Upright Forever.mp3 (7:02)
05 - Thank You Father.mp3 (5:33)
06 - We Will Descend, We Will Destroy.mp3 (15:30)

Recorded in a haunted apartment on Sutton St. in Greenpoint Brooklyn circa 1995 Rotary Hammer executes sonic mind-crimes with telepathy and remote Gibson hollow-body fuzz surround infusion. With angst ridden terror leads and banshee like backing vocals (on Scarlett and WWDWWD in particular) Rotary Hammer eats its own poison and then spits it in the face of authority. Note the lovely street harmonica on the final track - WWDWWD.

Also recorded and mixed in Greenpoint in 1996 The Seven Thunders was named after the Brooklyn Indian tribe of the same name. Who could forget such mystifying samples and tracks as Thick Milky Arms – RND Pathway which revealed itself on a chilly dark winter night with the aid of Nyquil. The Shit Magicians in Despotic Towers are major record companies and media consortiums.

Lizzy Says 251 Phrases

01 - Lizzy Says 251 Phrases.mp3 (29:06)

Unexplainable recording, which may be a code or manic mantra exemplifying your own ignorance and dire consequences signaling the point when absorption of knowledge fails. Connections depend upon sanity. When someone tells you to do something you better damn well do it. You had better also know if the Urchins had worms and if they fed them to the birds. You better not question if the boys had the frogs locked in a box. WHO would you tell anyway? Sampled from a record from the New York Public Library in the late 1980s.

The Seven Thunders - Blake vs PTV

01 - Blake vs PTV.mp3 (46:48)

In this full on battle remix and assault between The Mystic William Blake and Thee Mystikal Psychic TV, no one wins, but what’s the difference when it comes to seeing the world in a grain of sand and holding the universe in the palm of your hand anyway. There are BIGGER constructs than we know about. They fight, and through that conflict, fit into one another like one magnificent all knowing cosmic glove

Rotary Hammer – Torment of the Metals

01 - Fire.mp3 (31:45)
02. - Water.mp3 (36:39)

An ambient exploration of two primary elements and their inverse powers. Filled with inner dynamism, the sulphur-bull bucks and the dew in the bowl vibrates, sated with the nitric heavenly spirit, pure saltpeter. Note the mandolin and ambient radio waves.

05 - Edge.mp3 (5:18)

This is early electronic music was recorded in 1985 somewhere in NJ. A major influence of these tracks was the Monday night radio show Synthetic Pleasure on WFMU. It introduced ambient electronic music before people knew what to call it. Note the track Rain which incorporated environmental records and the track Crystal which combined actual Waterford Crystal borrowed from a dining room hutch with a synthetic fill-in. Note also the way out English horn on Wave.

12 - Think of It.mp3 (4:51)
13 - Todtenkampf.mp3 (5:25)
14 - You Don’t Know.mp3 (1:59)

Recorded on Montrose Ave in Williamsburg Brooklyn between 1992-1995 Humwawa defines the wrath and smite of a VERY UGLY GOD, and that God’s ever-loving penchant for wholesale disintegration. Essentially a collection of various loose criminal affiliations, stolen electronics equipment, and drug inspired unclean living, the Humwawa recording facility had the ambience of a windowless bunker that vaulted the confines of day and night. These recordings function as collection of artifacts which observe and investigate the interests of decay via The Institute of Death and Dying (IDD). Many of the most prized recordings were lost to time and fate. The apartment/studio was eventually confiscated by a man with a forklift who drove into the living room holding aloft a giant machine. And then the wall disintegrated revealing a humungous STOVE.
